Licensing Terms & Usage Rights

Welcome to CreativeAlys. When you purchase a digital asset from our store, you are not purchasing the copyright to the design. Instead, you are purchasing a license to use the asset in a specific way.

Below, you will find the details of our two licensing tiers: Standard and Extended. Please read these terms carefully to ensure you select the right license for your needs.

📅 At a Glance: License Comparison

1. Standard License

Best for: Personal projects, startups, small businesses, and one-off client work.

The Standard License grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Item.

✅ What You Can Do:

• Personal Use: Use the design for your own personal branding, business cards, or website.
• Single Client Project: You may use the design for one (1) client project. If you need to use the same design for a second client, you must purchase a new license.
• Advertising: Use the design in digital or print advertising (up to 500,000 total impressions/copies).
• Modification: You may modify, combine, or manipulate the design to fit your needs.

❌ What You Cannot Do:

• No Resale: You cannot use the design on items destined for resale (e.g., T-shirts, mugs, posters, or templates) where the design is the main value of the product.
• No Redistribution: You cannot sub-license, resell, share, transfer, or redistribute the source files (e.g., giving the .AI file to a friend).

2. Extended License

Best for: Merchandise, large-scale commercial production, and developers.

The Extended License grants you a broader non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Item.

✅ What You Can Do:

• Everything in Standard: Includes all rights granted in the Standard License.
• End Products for Sale: You may use the design on items destined for resale (e.g., printing the logo on T-shirts, packaging, or merchandise) up to 5,000 units.
• Unlimited Advertising: No limits on print run sizes or digital impressions.
• Multiple Projects: You may use the design across multiple projects within your own organization.

❌ What You Cannot Do:

• No “On-Demand” Services: You cannot upload the design to “Print on Demand” sites (like RedBubble, Zazzle, or Merch by Amazon) allowing third parties to customize items.
• No Redistribution: You still cannot resell or give away the actual source vector files.

3. Important Restrictions (Apply to ALL Licenses)

Regardless of the license you purchase, the following restrictions always apply:

1. No Trademarking: Since these are non-exclusive templates sold to multiple customers, you cannot register, trademark, or copyright the design as your exclusive intellectual property. If you require a unique, trademarkable logo, please contact us for custom design services.
2. No Competitor Use: You cannot use the design to create a competing product (e.g., buying our logo template to tweak it slightly and sell it as your own logo template on a stock site).
3. No Offensive Use: You may not use the design in connection with content that is illegal, hateful, or promotes violence.

4. Ownership

CreativeAlys and its authorized contributors retain all ownership, copyrights, and intellectual property rights to the designs. You are purchasing a license to use the files, not the ownership of the files themselves.

5. Refunds

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. No refunds will be given except in cases where the file is technically defective and cannot be fixed by our support team.
